Workshop Leader Code of Ethics

We are looking for workshops incorporating hands-on activities where the participants get to practice using specific tools, techniques, and ideas to improve and grow their businesses. These business owners are spiritually minded and looking to actively incorporate that into their businesses practices.

Our goals:

• Unite business and professionals in a spiritual surrounding, allowing for limitless individual and group development of spiritual and professional possibilities.
• Provide excellent workshop leaders to continually attract new people and support our members in manifesting their greatest levels of service and contribution.

If I am selected to be a workshop leader for BHS, I understand and agree to the following:

• If selected to present at Business Honoring Spirituality I agree that I will provide information, business skill sets or topics that business owners can use to grow their business.
• I will be contacted by a Speaker or Networking Chairperson.
• I will be allowed 60 minutes for the workshop, from 9:00 until 10:00 a.m.
• The presentation will be 45 minutes, followed by 2 min. of "selling" my product/service, followed by 13 minutes to answer questions, sell items, etc.
• I will vacate the workshop room no later than 10:00 a.m.
• My workshop title, description, along with my biography and my photograph (as submitted by me via the Workshop Leader Application form) will be used in marketing materials, including but not limited to the speaker bulletin, the Workshop section of the BHS website (www.bhsmilehi.org) and other social media sites BHS uses to promote events and meetings.
• I may place my handout materials and flyers on a separate table in the workshop room.
• I am encouraged to promote my workshop and have participants pre-register on the BHS web site or pay at the door.
• I will purchase a minimum of one spotlight table at a regularly held BHS meeting on Thursday morning within three weeks of my workshop or the same day as my workshop, for a pre-paid fee of $25.
• If I have products to sell, I will provide a copy of my Colorado and Lakewood Sales Tax Licenses to the BHS Marketing Coordinator prior to the confirmation of the marketing table in the workshop room. (Note: If you do not have these licenses please refer to the BHS Website Sales Tax Information section for instructions and links to the appropriate Government agencies.)

If selected to be a workshop leader for BHS, I agree that I will not:

• Market my products as part of the workshop presentation or infomercial upcoming programs/seminars.
• Express my personal political views.
• Model or demonstrate medical/treatment practices.
